Classes for Children (Age 1-12)

Ages 1-3

Toddler Time • Saturday, 9:45-10:30am

This class will focus on body awareness with fun interactive music, storytime and dance games. Dance obstacle courses for building coordination. Students will learn on short song to put movement to to practice memorization and will be performed in class on the last day for family and friends with a party celebration. This class is a stepping stone to Creative Core Dance 1.


Ages 3-6

Creative Core Ballet • Tuesdays, 4:15-5pm

Combines core building exercises, basic ballet principles with music, imagination and spatial awareness. Students learn dance patterns, ideas of rotation and basic ballet terms, while building an understanding of class structure.


Ages 4-7

Pre-Ballet • Saturdays, 10:30-11:30am

Designed to transition a child from Creative Core into a more traditional ballet class. Focuses on the deeper disciplines of using the ballet vocabulary to build on longer phrases and to enhance memory.


Ages 5-10

Tap • Tuesdays, 5-6 pm

Rhythm tap will focus on musicality and staying to the beat with your feet. This class will engage the mind to control the feet to make organized sound with music


Ages 5-12

Kids Contemporary • Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm

A class designed to move through space on different planes while increasing flexibility, musicality and strength. This class will explore physical ranges using floorwork and unique big jumps while focusing on emoting with the music.


Ages 5-12

Kids Hip Hop • Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm

This fun class will teach current Hip Hop repertoire while building stamina and release endorphins to keep everyone dancing through the week


Ages 5-12

Foundations Ballet • Thursdays, 4:30-5:30pm

This class will build ballet foundations with adding in contemporary ballet basics. Students will develop their ballet skills, stretching and flexibility and moving their entire bodies through space with small jumps, mid level jumps and traveling movements.

 

Classes for Teens/Adults (Age 12+)

Ballet • Mondays, 6-7:15pm
Ballet class focused on integration of body and coordination while building ballet vocabulary and strengthening the body. Black leotard and pink or flesh colored tights with ballet slippers or Black leggings and white fitted shirt.

Pointe** Mondays, 7:15-7:45pm and Thursdays, 7:15-7:45pm
Pre-pointe and pointe class to strengthen ankles, metatarsals and inner thighs with the purpose to become proficient and injury free dancing en pointe. Black leotard and pink or flesh colored tights with ballet slippers or Black leggings and white fitted shirt.

K-POP (Age 10+) • Tuesdays, 6-7pm
Free and sharp dance movement using the ever so popular dance movement from Korea. This fun class will teach current KPop repertoire while building stamina and release endorphins to keep everyone dancing through the week. No uniform required.

Absolute Beginner Ballet • Tuesdays, 7-8pm
Learn the foundation and basics of a ballet class while getting your body toned and flexible.

Ballet Barre Express • Wednesdays, 12-1pm
Pilates exercises integrated into basic ballet strengthening technique. This class will walk you through basic Pilates exercises and include exercises at the ballet barre.

Contemporary • Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm
A class designed to move through space on different planes while increasing flexibility, musicality and strength. Students will learn a new dance combination every month that they will rehearse in each class. This class will explore physical ranges using floorwork and unique big jumps while focusing on emoting with the music.

Hip Hop Fitness • Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30pm
60 minutes of heart pumping fun. A cardiovascular class designed to get your heart and body moving in fun and sweat pumping ways.

Conditioning Ballet* • Thursdays, 5:30-7:15pm

Open Ballet • Saturdays, 11:30-12:30pm

Beginner Pointe** • Saturdays, 12:30-1pm
